SMO Officer Instruction Guide


Step 1: SMO Officer Listing by DNO Officer

Before an SMO officer can log in, they must be added to the system by the District Nodal Officer (DNO). The DNO officer will enter all necessary details such as name and contact information.

Note: Once listed, the SMO officer can log in using their mobile number.


Step 2: SMO Officer Login with OTP

After being listed by the DNO, SMO officers can log in using their mobile number and an OTP (One-Time Password).

  • Enter your mobile number on the login page.
  • Receive a 6-digit OTP via SMS on your mobile.
  • Enter the OTP to verify and access the system.

Tip: If you don’t receive an OTP, click on "Resend OTP" or contact the itcellnhm@gmail.com for help.


Step 3: SMO Officer Dashboard

After logging in, you will be taken to your dashboard. Here you can manage your daily tasks and track data submissions.

  • View Records: You will see statistics such as OPD totals, X-ray and USG records.
  • View Post: View Post details.

Step 4: Daily Reporting (Starting October)

Beginning in October, SMO officers must submit daily reports regarding OPD totals and X-ray/USG statistics.

  • OPD Total: Total number of patients seen at the facility.
  • X-ray and USG Statistics: Number of X-rays and USGs conducted in-house or at empanelled centers.
  • Remarks: Any additional notes or details about the day’s activities.

Condition: If you miss any previous days’ reports, you cannot submit today’s report until the missing entries are completed.


Step 5: Monthly Reporting (Accepted Till September)

Monthly reporting will be accepted till the month of September. The report covers data from May to September. Data from January to April has been pre-filled by IT NHM.

  • You can view and manage monthly reports under the Total Monthly Statistics (Daily X-Ray and USG) section and Total Monthly Statistics (Manual Monthly Entries) section.
  • The system will function based on the filters applied to these reports, allowing easy access and management.

Step 6: Post Submission Every 90 Days

Every 90 days, SMO officers must submit a detailed post report about staffing and facility activities.

  • Include: Radiologists, sonologists, radiographers, and other important staffing or facility updates.

Condition: Failure to submit the post report within 90 days will result in restricted system access.


Step 7: View and Download Reports

SMO officers can view and download reports for the data submitted. You can filter reports by date range and institution.

  • Download Reports: Use the "Download Report" button to export reports in CSV format.

Important Conditions

  • Daily reporting begins in October, and missing previous reports must be completed first.
  • Post submission is required every 90 days. Missing this deadline will restrict system access.
  • Login is based on OTP verification sent to your registered mobile number.

Common Issues and Solutions

  • Unable to Submit Daily Data: Check if any past records are missing. They must be completed first.
  • Forgot Password or OTP Issues: Contact the DNO officer for assistance in resetting your credentials.
  • Missed 90-Day Post Report: Submit the post report as soon as possible to regain full system access.
